Carla Jimney Breaux

Has been playing piano for 45 years and has been teaching full-time for 17 years.  In 2006, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance with a concentration in Piano Pedagogy at McNeese State University.  

 I am an active member in the following organizations:

           MTNA-Music Teachers National Association

                     -nationally certified to teach piano

           LMTA-Louisiana Music Teachers Association 

-currently the Technology Chair

-has earned the Standard Certificate to teach piano in the state of LA and

  is currently working on earning the Certificate of Experience

           LCPTA-Lake Charles Piano Teachers Association 

                              -Current President & Webmaster for LCPTA

                             -Chairman of Louisiana State Rally Competition for the                                                                               Lake Charles division

Musikgarten offers a comprehensive, sequential plan for the musical development of children from birth through beginning piano. Through Musikgarten, I am licensed to teach the curriculum for babies and toddlers ages birth-5 years.         

I am the pianist at The Christian Science Society, Lake Charles.
